You are warmly invited to visit St Mary's College, Oscott
On Sunday evenings from 6:30pm – 7:15pm we solemnly sing Evening Prayer of the Church in the main chapel. Typically this will involve Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction. On some occasions, such as when oaths of fidelity are being made, the Blessed Sacrament will not be exposed. Our recent celebrations of Evening Prayer have been enhanced by short reflections given by the fifth year seminarians who are preparing for ordination to the Sacred Diaconate. All are welcome to join us for prayer and reflection with Our Lord. Booklets will be provided
Another very popular public event held at the college is Praise and Worship led by the seminarians. If you’ve never been before, it is a wonderful way of praising God through song, silence and prayer and preaching. We meet in the Main Chapel on Saturdays from 8pm to 9pm, with refreshments available afterwards.
Other public events are sometimes held throughout the year; so make sure you keep an eye on the events calendar!
The cemetery is normally open every day of the year. For up to date opening times see the Cemetery Information page.
The annual Blessing of Graves takes place in November. Please check the Events Calendar.
