New Oscott Seminarian – Jonathan Burden

As part of our series of posts to start the new college year, one of the new Oscott seminarians, Jonathan Burden, shares his inspiring story thus far to entering seminary.

My name is Jonathan and I am studying for the Diocese of Brentwood. I am 21 years old and have just completed the propaedeutic year in Valladolid. My background is from retail working for Costa Coffee. I come from a loving family and am the younger of just 2 and my father has recently been received into the Church at Easter in Spain. I felt my call for the first time when I was in secondary school. I am delighted to be at Oscott College where I am with 3 of my diocesan brothers and finally perusing my vocation God has called me to do.
